Friends...

Friday Mattee celebrated her Birthday with her friends. They had a wonderful time of opening gifts, playing games, making up an awsome dance, and watching movies. Our rule of celebrating birthdays is that the other sister can invite one friend. Kelsee invited Brooke and they were wild and crazy. Thanks girls for making Mattee's b-day a special one.

Happy Birthday Mattee...

November 1st Mattee (Mavis) turned 9 years old. Mattee is growing up fast. She is quite the character. She loves to tell jokes and loves to read books and learn from them. She tells me something new everyday she learns from books that I didn't know about. She is a beautiful young lady. She is very strong willed and loves to make others happy. She is always helping me around the house without me having to ask. She is a wonderful and thoughtful sister. The other day Kelsee asked me for some change (those of you who know me well know that I never have change. I always use my debit card) and of course I didn't have any change on me. Well Mattee over heard this and had $3 in her piggy bank. She put the $3 in an envelope and snuck it in Kelsee's school bag (Kelsee found it when she got to school). She is always doing something thoughtful for others. She is a strong animal lover and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. I (we) love Mattee so much and we are so blessed to have her in our lives. We are so proud of you...Happy Birthday!

Happy Halloween...

This year was quite a different Halloween night. Kelsee (hippie)went to a friends party and trick or treating with them. Our first year without her. Does it get any easier? We missed having her with us. My Mattee (witch)and Avree (monkey. If you know my Avree her costume is perfect for her.) had a hay day though and Hadlee (Kitti) stayed home with grandma. Thank you Marilyn for watching her. Jamie and I dressed up too. I was a hill-billy and Jamie was a lumber jack. The night was perfect weather. They got some good treats and toys. We went to one house where they were serving fresh egg rolls (homemade) to the parents. They were delicious. After our night out we went back to Bud and Marilyn's for taco casserole. This is our family trend every year. We love Maryiln's taco casserole. Thank you Bud and Marilyn for always hosting us.

Carving Pumpkins...

The girls enjoyed carving their own pumpkins lastnight. Avree would take out her pumpkin guts and put them into her sisters pumpkin. It was too cute. Hadlee's pumpkin is the witch.

Rainbow Gardens

We went to our yearly tradition for Audra's birthday to Rainbow Gardens. We look forward to it every year. We always have a good time. Avree loved the cantelope while everyone else enjoyed their Mormon Muffins...

Pinata...

For Spanish class Kelsee chose to make a pinata for one of her assignments. We finished it up lastnight. She chose a bat being so close to Halloween. I think she did an amazing job. Good job sweetie. Love you...
