Avree Marie turned 2 on May 30th. Where has the time flown? Avree is our girl on the move at all times. Did I mention busy bee. She loves to go, go, go. She is very smart and therefore examines and tries everything. She is learning more words and sentences everyday. She is lovable and giving. She loves to share with her sisters most of the time. She is a teaser and loves to make you laugh. She loves to cuddle and give kisses. When she hugs you she has to pat you on the back. She love animals and loves their kisses on her face. She is interested in bugs, especially potato bugs and is always trying to pick them up. She will choose a ball over most toys. She loves balls and has one heck of a pitch. Excited to get her into softball or soccer. She love to help all of us with chores and helps mommy with Hadlee all the time. She helps mommy wipe Hadlee's bottom, mix her formula, brings me diapers, brushes her hair, cleans her face, puts cotton in her ears for tub time and wants to hold her non-stop. She is the best big sister. She love music and loves to dance. Avree loves to dress up in her play slippers and make dinner with mom in her play pans and spoons. Avree is sensitive but yet she has a very strong will "that's my story and I'm sticking to it". She sets her mind to something and won't give up or in. She loves her little friends at grandma's and will stick up for them but they know she's the boss and they don't test her. She has showed them once or twice and that's all it took. She is trying potty training and doing well on most days. She loves her baba and I think this will be a trial getting her off of it due to the fact of her baby sister having one and not understanding why Hadlee can and she can't. Time will tell. Her favorite things to eat are yogurt, fries, hot dogs, turkey, BBQ chicken, beans, olives, Cheerios, apples, chocolate, Cinnamon bears and popcorn. Her weight is 50%, height 50% and head 90%. It's because she is so smart! Avree is the joy of our life and we wonder why we waited so long to have her hear with us. We can't imagine our lives without this precious little child of ours. She is our dream come true and we are truely blessed and thank our Lord everyday for her and Him choosing us as her parents.
This weekend we went to the Smoke House in Tooele for beef jerky (they now have one in West Haven wahoo!), then off to Thanksgiving Point. We enjoyed the animals but not so much the pony ride. As you can see Avree crying on the pony and then the poor little pony alone. We went on a wagon ride and let her pick out a toy. Of course she chose a little car and miniature horse. We walked over to see the baby chickens and a little girl just bought one and let Avree pet it. Jamie just built a coop so we are anxious to fill it. Then to finish off the day we got an ice cream. I got her a vanilla and me a mint chocolate chip ice cream. She started eating hers then realized mine was better and had to trade. She knows good taste!
Then the following day we went to the ZOO. She loved exploring all the animals and watching there every move. It may just be me but I think they all new it was her birthday because almost everyone of them came up to her through glass of fence. It definitely made her day. I baked a cake (and the top ended up sticking to the lid but we scraped it off and added it back on) and took it with us and sang happy birthday. We visited the ? exhibit and found out it was full of bats. Before entering they told us if we had anything sugary or sweet on our hands to stick them in our pockets or they will come after our hands. Then she rode the Mari-go-round and had a sober face the entire time. Afterwards we went to the park and she ran back and forth to everything possible and went down the slides about 6 times. A little girl there told Mattee to get off her turtle shell and Avree didn't like her talking to her sister that way so she through some wood chips at her. I decided it was time to move on. We ended with visiting the Store and she had to try on masks and make scary noises and touch everything in there. She walked out with a elephant (when you squeeze it its eyes pop out) and a baby tiger in a blanket. She called it her baby. Thank goodness there were no balls to add to her piles at home. We all had a wonderful time and by the time we pulled out of the parking lot she was out. Happy Birthday to a special girl named Avree. We love you so much! Daddy, Mommy, Kelsee, Mattee and Hadlee.
